About Phil...

Phil thought of entering the voiceover world a few years ago while working as a teacher in the school’s Learning Lab. The Learning Lab allowed students with a wide range of learning disabilities who required special attention to complete homework or take exams while receiving one-on-one attention. Having to record the questions and answers on an iPod to meet the oral administration standards of these exams, Phil found particular interest and liking in voice recording.

It would be May 2021, after seven years in Elementary Education, when Phil decided it was time to make the jump. He has completed courses with ‘Such A Voice’ while continuing his training with ‘Gravy for the Brain’ and attending a group class hosted by Kim Handysides. It would be May 2021, after seven years in Elementary Education, when Phil decided it was time to make the jump. I’ve been married for 17 years to my wife Carrie, and our children are twin boys who are 14 years old. They are both in marching band, with one son playing trumpet and the other who plays the sousaphone (marching) and concert tuba for events.

Music!

I love playing guitar and am currently improving my mandolin and bass skills. I also enjoy running or training for half marathons.
